Maintenance Technician

Ideal Team Member

$1,500 Sign On Bonus - First $750 at 45 days of employment, and the next $750 at 90 days.

The Maintenance Technician works as a team member of the maintenance department and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. The role is primarily responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production machinery at our egg processing facility in Monroe, NH.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Installation and set up of machines and equipment Establish and perform preventative maintenance on all machinery, equipment, and facility Routine inspections of machinery and equipment to make any necessary repairs and adjustments Troubleshoot and repair down production and building equipment Support production with changeover, product setup, and startup Ensure constant compliance with all company, state, and OSHA safety policies and procedures Responsible for maintaining proper housekeeping and organization of maintenance and all other work areas Adhere to all SQF(Safe Food Quality) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) policies and procedures Learn egg grading system

Key Skills and Qualifications

5 years of mechanical experience (preferably with industrial equipment) Knowledge and experience with pneumatic systems Basic understanding of electricity and electrical wiring as it relates to machinery and equipment Ability to troubleshoot AC and DC electrical components Proper training regarding Safety Data Sheets and safe chemical handling Ability to obtain forklift certification Experience with hand and power tools Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electro-mechanical equipment Blueprint, sketch layout, wiring diagram, drawing and specification interpretation skills Basic MS Outlook/Word/Excel, preventative maintenance programs and manufacturing resource planning skills Food Quality Safety (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience preferred
